Default Who Selectively Traps? Anyone?

Is there anyone here, or does anyone know of others who selectively trap certain animals, or certain animals of the same species?

I have in a few instances. I'm not really a trapper, except for a little live-trapping with Havahart traps. Where I live we have many color variations of the same species of squirrel. I feed the squirrels in a trap that is outsize for them -- that way they don't trip it. I have them in and out of the trap all the time. When I get the one I want, say it's a melanistic squirrel, I manually spring the trap and I've got it. I transfer the animal to another holding containment, reset the trap, and it's good to go again in about 3 minutes. If I catch an animal and release it, there is no lasting trauma, and it will come right back.
